Built in 1855 and restored in 1939, the Adobe de Palomares was the 13-room home of Don Ygnacio Palomares and his wife Dona Concepcion Lopez de Palomares. It is listed as a California Historical Landmark (Marker No. 372) and is also registered with the National Register of Historic Places (No. 71000156).
