At the Norris House you’ll discover the fascinating story of the father of the Rural Electrification Act, the Tennessee Valley Authority Act, and Nebraska’s one-house legislature. The house and all its furnishings were donated to the Historical Society by Norris’s wife, Ellie in 1968. Exhibits located in the basement of the house trace the senator’s life and career.
