Poe House
Description
The Poe House was built in 1897 and is an Eastlake style victorian home that belonged to E.A. Poe, a local brick maker in Fayetteville, NC. The Poe House is under ownership of the Museum of the Cape Fear which is a regional branch of the NC State History Museum and under the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources. The Poe House interprets a period of 1897-1917 and tells the story of the Poe family in Fayetteville.

Weekday tours are at 11, 1, and 3pm Tuesday-Friday, Saturday tours are every hour on the hour from 10-4, and Sunday tours are every hour from 1-4pm
