Description
Built by John Joseph Henry, a third generation member of the Henry family of gunsmiths, this elegant Federal style home is furnished entirely with family furnishing and remained in the family until it was bequeathed to the Jacobsburg Historical Society in 1989. The House, with accompanying summer kitchen and garden is open for tours during the summer season and by special appointment. The Jacobsburg Historical Society also sustains the Pennsylvania Long Rifle Museum and the historic Nicholas Hawk Gun Shop and is adjacent to Pennsylvania's Jacobsburg State Park.
